  Pressure Down Sounds and Rudies Hi-Fi spin strictly-vinyl all-night reggae grooves for First Friday at Downbeat Lounge. Vintage wax mixes of dancehall, ska, rocksteady and more by selectors Irie-Sistable and Zion Coptic Sound.

  The ARTS at Marks Garage is a community arts center with a 1,000 sq. ft. gallery, a 1,000 sq. ft. theater, and a 1,000 sq. ft. office space founded in 2001. Marks is home to 13 performing and visual arts businesses including Youth Speaks Hawaii and Hawaii Shakespeare Festival. 45,000 visitors attend 13 exhibits and 150 performances each year.

  MEET THE ARTIST - Mark N. Brown at Downtown Art Center First Friday
  Mark is one of the few Plein Air Artists in Hawaii. Plein Air artists paint their paintings entirely outside at the site of the painting subject. He teaches this method at the University of Hawaii and his work can be seen all throughout the Hawaiian islands.
