A “Secret Beer Garden” will be presented in March as a benefit for The ARTS at Marks directly inside the Smith Street Gate in the BAMBOO COURTYARD. DJ SILVANA will spin underground Chinese down-tempo lounge music. Come by to relax and find respite from the crowds.

Art will be displayed as usual in the walkways and corridor. Turn the corner to begin with ANDI LILIKOI showing a complete series of six new photos. A new Loft member, LUX XUL will have a selection of her ink metal prints and SERGIO GARZON, another Loft member, will have his wood block prints downstairs this Friday.

DOVER and RAVEN ABRAMS come over from the Big Island where they live very green and create art there to share here. Ask them!

SUSAN RISSE combines her paintings with unique handmade jewelry.

BRAD NEAL returns in March with his realistic and not-so-very-realistic heteromorphic art. TINA YOUNG will be back at her table offering her special homemade Luscious Lanikai jams and Jellies. Featured in March will be Hayden Mango Jam.

And new to the Courtyard are CASSIE SAY and her mother, Yu Zhen Zhong. Their exclusive collection is a manifestation of their diverse background. Born Canton and Honolulu, they have collaborated in a mother and daughter unison to create gifts and accessories to be unique and sophisticated with a focus on making gifts as beautiful inside as outside. The new yellow diamonds are rare and as beautiful as moonlight. Their authentic jade collection may establish good luck, prosperity, and health in 2012, the most auspicious year of the Water Dragon.

Entry to the venue is either from Maunakea Street or through the Beer Garden at the Smith Street Gate. This art event is free and open to the public.
