JUNE FOREMAN is an artist of many facets but her current favorite is glass. Born  in Japan, the daughter of missionaries , she moved to Hawaii from Florida in 2009. In the architectural field professionally, her passion is art and introducing others to it. Her dream is to have an art studio of her own one day. She will be sharing her fused glass pieces in the Courtyard. They are beautiful art pieces that would be totally appropriate for early holiday purchases. She will be happy to describe her technique and is available for instruction of small groups.

ERIC MEAD is an emerging artist who paints on canvas but has recently become known for his unique surf-style hats. He currently lives on Oahu and likes to primarily paint waves. He is anxious to both make more art and surf on bigger waves. He hopes that his art pieces will remind people of how beautiful nature is and also in some way, help the community.

LAUREN BELL of Mad House Mind Works is 26 years old, married to a soldier and they have two (2) four legged children. She has been inspired by her travels, books and by colors. Recently, “steam-punk” has caught her fancy and she is currently researching about how to blend it with the local culture. Innovative, passionate and creative steam-punk and neo Victorian style jewelry is what she creates. Her website MadHouseMindWorks.etsy.com has jewelry that is made to be intelligent, bold, feminine & fantastic! Wrist watches, clock parts, gears, and repurposed vintage items all combine to create these amazing one-of-a-kind pieces.  She has shown before at the Art & Flea venue.

ALESSANDRA JANN-JORDAN  or “Reverie by Alessandra” is an individually run hand crafted jewelry and cards business based out of Honolulu. Every jewelry design is hand made using semi-precious stones, fresh water pearls, Swarovski crystallized elements, vintage coral, a variety of metals, and hand glass blown beads – all collected from the designer’s travels around the world. The greeting cards are created with layers of beautiful hand crafted papers, originating from countries as Korea, France and Italy. The cards are one of a kind and irreproducible, as the vintage elements used to decorate them are unique, recycled and often antique. Both jewelry and cards can be custom made and tailored to the client's specifications for such events as weddings, birthdays and anniversaries. She loves the creative process, and takes pride in her customer’s satisfaction and enjoyment of her products.

SHAYNE TURNER, will be offering her unique jewelry that she calls Grand Strands. Crafted individually and by hand in the Windward Temple Valley, each unique piece celebrates many of nature’s own creations, reflecting places and colors of our Islands.

FRED GAYAGAS will return for First Friday with his mix of Hawaiian and contemporary music. He welcomes you to participate with a spontaneous hula or songs if you are so inclined.

Entry to the venue is either on Maunakea Street or Smith Street through the Bamboo into the Courtyard. This event is free and open to the public.
