Free public screening of The Cats of Mirikitani (2006), presented by director Linda Hattendorf

Location: UHM, Art Building, Auditorium, Room 132
Please attend a free public film screening at the UH Mānoa Art Auditorium of The Cats of Mirikitani (2006), a multiple award-winning film made by director Linda Hattendorf. The film explores the life and art of Jimmy Mirikitani, the artist featured in the exhibition Street Nihonga, currently on view in the Art Gallery at UH Mānoa. The director will be present to introduce the film and answer questions from the audience. Street Nihonga will be open for viewing after the screening.
