For 22 years, actor, urban storyteller and oral archivist David O'Shea has been collecting true stories from WWII vets in memory of his late father. This is his first public performance sharing these tales of close calls, lousy food, and old soldiers finding meaning 60 years later.

In this special one-day crafting workshop, led by Master Artisan Umi Kai, you'll assemble your own Niho Oki, a traditional Hawaiian shark-tooth utility knife, using a precut wooden handle, tiger shark tooth blade, and cordage, then shape and finish it with provided tools and coconut oil.
