DAC WALKING TOUR: Art, History & Architecture in the HEART of Honolulu

Historian Gary Coover and artist and educator Susan Hogan lead this walking tour of the HEART district of Downtown Honolulu. A unique way to experience the historical and artistic heritage of this area.
Saturday, July 11 from 10 AM - 12 PM, $20 per person, only 20 slots available—register ahead of time!


DAC Storytelling Night with Tricia Allen

July 11, 2026 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Tattoo artist, author, and University of Hawai'i instructor Tricia Allen will share her decades-long journey into Polynesian tattooing, from her early museum work to her travels across Tahiti, the Marquesas, and Rapa Nui. She has tattooed thousands of Polynesian community members and lectured widely at major institutions and conferences.
2nd Floor DAC Classroom, $10 per person. It is highly recommended to register ahead!

Every First Sunday of the month
Located in the 2nd floor DAC Classroom
Every First Sunday of the month, DAC and the Guitar Foundation of Hawaii, led by veteran music coordinator and musician Terry Oyama, team up to host live music by different local bands and musicians. Refreshments available from the DAC donation bar.
