DAC Storytelling Night with Special Guest Elizabeth Wichmann-Walczak

June 13, 2026 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Retired UH professor and Asian theatre director Elizabeth Wichmann-Walczak is known as the Grande Dame of Beijing Opera in America. Since her retirement, China has declared her a living treasure. Experience her retelling of two classic Chinese Opera tales! 
2nd Floor DAC Classroom, $10 per person. It is highly recommended to register ahead, as this may sell out.

Historian Gary Coover and artist and educator Susan Hogan lead this walking tour of the HEART district of Downtown Honolulu. A unique way to experience the historical and artistic heritage of this area.

Every First Friday evening of the month, DAC joins other creative organizations in the Chinatown Arts District with special art activities, performances, make & take crafting projects, exhibition opening receptions, artist meet & greets, and more!

2:00 - 4:00 PM
Every First Sunday of the month
Located in the 2nd floor DAC Classroom
Every First Sunday of the month, DAC and the Guitar Foundation of Hawaii, led by veteran music coordinator and musician Terry Oyama, team up to host live music by different local bands and musicians. Refreshments available from the DAC donation bar.
