Gallery On the Pali presents acrylic paintings by Phillip Riley

Honolulu, Hawai’i (May 21, 2026) - Honolulu’s Gallery On The Pali invites you to an exhibition of acrylic paintings by O’ahu artist Phillip Riley. The exhibition titledSocial Consciousness and Nature” opens June 12th and runs through July 12th at the gallery located at 2500 Pali Highway near downtown.

Artist Phillip Riley spent many ears teaching in special education at Waipahu High School and other locations, as well as studying art in multiple universities. His sensitivity and eye for detail, as well as concern for his fellow human beings, enables him to paint authentic and respectful paintings of citizens who find themselves houseless and on the streets. In contrast he also paints moody and mysterious landscapes.

The gallery will donate any of its sales income to the First Unitarian Church Social Justice Committee to support O’ahu projects benefiting houseless persons.

The public is invited to a reception to meet Phillip Riley on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 4 to 6 PM.
