Volunteers To Replace Damaged Traffic Delineators Along Ward Avenue Protected Bike Lanes
- Tweet

HONOLULU – On Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., volunteers from the Hawai‘i Bicycling League (HBL)and the American Public Works Association, Hawai‘i Chapter (APWA) will replace damaged and missing traffic delineators along the Ward Avenue protected bike lanes, between South King Street and Auahi Street.
The project is being coordinated through the City’s Mālama O Ka ʻĀina (MOKA) community volunteer program, administered by the Department of Facility Maintenance’s Division of Road Maintenance (DRM), with additional support from the City’s Department of Transportation Services and Complete Streets Program.
Regular upkeep of the protected bike lanes is essential to providing a safe and enjoyable riding experience for cyclists across Honolulu, and the City is grateful to HBL and APWA for their commitment to this effort.
