CALL TO ARTISTS!

June 2024

CALLING ALL QUEER ARTISTS! Submit your art to celebrate National LGBTQIA+ Pride Month. Please click on image above to fill out application to have your artwork considered for inclusion in the CHEERS FOR QUEERS exhibit from Tuesday, June 4 (LOAD-IN), to Saturday, June 29 (LOAD-OUT). The artwork will be shown in The SIDE WALL Gallery at The ARTS at Marks Garage.

This exhibit is presented and curated by Saumolia Puapuaga, a Samoan-American queer artist, and MaryAnne Long, Board President of The ARTS at Marks Garage. 

This exhibit will feature miniature art (maximum 80-square inches, including frame for 2-D art or 10” footprint for 3-D art). There will be no particular theme and all media will be considered.

There will be no entry or participation fee and all sales will be 60% to the artist and 40% donation to The ARTS at Marks Garage. 

IMPORTANT DATES:
Application Deadline: Saturday, May 18, 2024, by 9PM
Acceptance Notification: Wednesday, May 22, 2024
LOAD-IN: Tuesday, June 4, noon to 5PM
LOAD-OUT: Saturday, June 29, noon to 5PM 
FIRST FRIDAY: Meet the Artists Reception, June 7, 5 to 8PM
FINAL FRIDAY: Closing Pau Hana, June 28, 5 to 8PM
