From archery to zumba, enjoy the fall lineup of activities at your City parks and botanical gardens!

Registration begins Aug. 21 -- 25 for over 320 park classes, Aug. 28 for botanical garden programs

O‘AHU -- The end of summer is near, but have no fear, Honolulu Parks and Rec is here with awesome activities ‘til the end of the year!

The Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) is pleased to announce its fall lineup of classes and programs offered at City parks and botanical gardens around O‘ahu. The catalog of over 320 park activities is now available for public viewing online at pros.hnl.info . Botanical garden classes for the first fall session will be posted soon.

With a wide variety of free and paid activities for participants of all ages, we hope there is a chance for you to enjoy the selection of recreation and education opportunities, including: archery, aerobics, arts & crafts, basketball, board & card games, ceramics, flag football, gymnastics, kūpuna exercises, paddleboarding, snorkeling, surfing, swimming, volleyball, zumba and so much more!

Registration for these activities will be held online at pros.hnl.info (in the "Activities" section) based on geographic park district and the following Hawai‘i Standard Time schedule:

District 1 (Ka Iwi to Waikīkī)

  • Monday, Aug. 21 at 5 p.m.
  • (808) 768-8944

District 2 (Makiki to 'Aiea)

  • Tuesday, Aug. 22 at 5 p.m.
  • (808) 768-9292

District 3 (Waipahū to Mākaha)

  • Wednesday, Aug. 23 at 5 p.m.
  • (808) 768-6889

District 4 (Mokulēʻia to Makapu‘u)

  • Thursday, Aug. 24 at 5 p.m.
  • (808) 768-8980

District 5 (Pearl City to Whitmore)

  • Friday, Aug. 25 at 5 p.m.
  • (808) 768-6940

For those without computer or internet access, you can register for your class in-person at the activity's site from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. following the above schedule. Please call the park location where your class is located to coordinate.

In addition to the amazing park programs, a cornucopia of classes such as bracelet weaving, composting, gardening, and wreath making will be available at your Honolulu Botanical Gardens in two fall sessions:

  • Session 1 (Sept. -- Oct.): registration begins Monday, Aug. 28 at 9 a.m.
  • Session 2 (Nov. -- Dec.): registration begins Monday, Oct. 23 at 9 a.m.

Registration for the botanical garden classes will be held primarily online at pros.hnl.info . For those without computer or internet access, please call the botanical garden staff at (808) 768-7135 to coordinate registration.

Additional information about the fall botanical garden classes will be posted on the Honolulu Botanical Gardens' website (honolulubotanicalgardens.com), on their social media, and on the registration website pros.hnl.info .

For online payments, Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards are the only accepted form of payment. Cash and check are accepted forms of payment for in-person registration.
