Administrative Services Assistant (ASA)
  • Location: Honolulu, island of Oʻahu
  • Full-time temporary position (renewable 89-day contract).
  • Job description: This position plans, organizes, coordinates and directs all administrative staff services, advises and assists the Executive Director in internal management, fiscal and personnel staff functions; and performs other duties as required. Please note that this is not a secretarial, clerical, or office support position.
  • Duties include: Provide administrative support, including fiscal management; planning and budgeting; purchasing, inventory, and management of office equipment, data processing; management of requests for proposals for grants, subsidies, and purchases of service; contract preparation and processing of state, federal, and grants funds; monitoring and evaluating contracts for state and federal compliance; preparing federal grant applications and financial reports; securing and maintaining photocopier, postage, fax, and computer machines, and other office information services.
  • Qualifications include: graduate of an accredited college or university, a minimum of two and one-half years of progressively responsible professional analytical work experience.
  • Salary: Hiring rates will be based on availability of funds, the applicant's qualifications and other relevant factors.
