Parks & Rec Spring 2023 Program offering hundreds of recreation, education opportunities around O‘ahu

 



O‘AHU – Registration will begin soon for nearly 900 recreation, education, and social opportunities at your City parks and gardens as part of the Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation’s Spring Program 2023!

The catalog detailing the diverse array of available park programs is now posted online at the Parks and Recreation Online System (PROS) website, which can be accessed by visiting:
pros.hnl.info

There you’ll find the wide variety of activities offered at parks around O‘ahu from January through April 2023; ranging from archery to aerobics, music lessons to mahjong, and swimming to sewing.

For botanical garden classes, the catalog is now posted online at the Honolulu Botanical Gardens website:
honolulubotanicalgardens.com. Online registration for those specific classes begins Monday, Jan. 9 at 9 a.m. at the PROS website.

The majority of the enrollment for both free and paid park programs will be conducted online using the PROS website as well. The registration timetable for these park classes is based on geographic park district, with enrollment beginning under the following schedule:

District 1 (Ka Iwi to Waikīkī)

Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 4 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 4 p.m.

District 4 (Mokulēʻia to Makapu‘u)

Thursday, Jan. 19 at 4 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 20 at 4 p.m.

District 2 (Makiki to 'Aiea)

Monday, Jan. 23 at 4 p.m.
(808) 768-9292

For those who are unable to access the PROS website, accommodations can be made for in-person registration. Please contact the appropriate park location to request this in-person registration.

For online payments, Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards are the only accepted form of payment. Cash and check are accepted forms of payment for in-person registration.
