About Oʻahu Fringe Festival:
As an-all volunteer-organized, nonprofit Fringe Festival associated with other Fringe Festivals worldwide, our mission is to promote the development of original work in the performing arts, and to present a provocative multicultural arts festival unique to Hawaiʻi, showcasing emerging and professional artists in theatre, music, dance and all performance- related art. The Oʻahu Fringe Festival, which premiered November 10-12, 2011, brings artists, audiences and the community together in Chinatown, Honolulu. We have welcomed artists from the Hawaiian Islands, New York, California, Chicago, Seattle, and beyond. We do this for the love of the arts and to contribute to the artistic landscape, to make Hawaiʻi a Fringe Festival destination, where the community and artists celebrate the arts together.
