Drew Lynch is an American stand-up comedian, actor, YouTube Star, and social media influencer. He gained fame after appearing in the 10th season of ‘America's Got Talent’. He aspired to become an actor as a child; however, life had other plans for him. At the age of 20, Lynch suffered an injury while playing softball. As a result, he developed a stutter. Undaunted, and with the support of his friends, he started to pursue a career as a stand-up comedian. He wanted to show the world that any situation can be transformed into something positive. When he made his first appearance on the stage of ‘America's Got Talent’, his story and act convinced Howie Mandel, one of the show’s judges, to press the Golden Buzzer. He eventually was eliminated in the finals, losing to the season winner, ventriloquist Paul Zerdin. Following his success on the show, Lynch’s YouTube channel gained traction. Also featuring his service dog Stella, the channel has gained over 1.6 million subscribers and more than 100 million views to date.

DAVID ARCHULETA - Hawaii Tour 2020
CURRENTLY IN HAWAII THEATRE CENTER MEMBER PRE-SALE - Call or TEXT the Hawaii Theatre Center Box Office with any questions at (808) 528-0506.
David Archuleta, Florida's sensational pop artist is bringing his signature sounds to the Historic Hawaii Theater! David James Archuleta was born in Miami in 1990 and is a singer, songwriter, multi instrumentalist (piano, keyboards, and guitar), and actor. He was introduced to music at an early age by his parents (his mother was a salsa singer/dancer and his father, a jazz musician) and he made his performance debut at a Utah Talent Competition when he was just 10 years old. His breakthrough came in 2008 when he took second place on the 7th season of American Idol and he released his debut single shortly thereafter. While his musical style can be broadly classified as pop, it's best described as a blend of pop rock (a genre that originated in the 1950s, influenced by the beat, arrangements, and style of rock and roll but with a greater emphasis on professional songwriting and recording craft), soul, and contemporary R&B (a genre that combines elements of rhythm and blues, soul, funk, pop, hip hop, and dance). He cites Natalie Cole, Stevie Wonder, Kirk Franklin, Bryan Adams, Elliott Yamin, John Mayer, and Sara Bareilles as some of his influences. He’s had a stellar career with 6 studio albums, live albums, 1 compilation album, 6 extended plays, 19 singles, 15 music videos, and 1 video album. Don’t miss your chance to see this artist add a unique touch to pop music!

Welcome to the Hawaii Theatre!
View Hawaii Theatre Event Calendar
Proclaimed as the "Pride of the Pacific," the beautiful Hawaii Theatre, built by the Consolidated Amusement Company, opened its doors September 6, 1922 in downtown Honolulu. The Hawaii Theatre operated as a showplace for vaudeville, plays, musicals and silent films until it fell into disrepair and the land lease was abandoned by Consolidated in 1984.

In 1986, the Hawaii Theatre Center, a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation was formed to save the Hawaii Theatre from the wrecking ball and in May 1996, the Hawaii Theatre reopened its doors as a 1400-seat, multi-purpose, state-of-the art performance center.

The Hawaii Theatre was recognized as the 'Outstanding Historic Theatre in America' in 2005 by the League of Historic American Theatres and, in 2006, was awarded an Honor Award by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Listed on both the State and National Registers of Historic Places, the Hawaii Theatre is available for all of Hawaii to enjoy.
