HONOLULU, HI -- During the month of October, The ARTS at Marks Garage will host three signature events for the community of Honolulu.


The Pancakes & Booze Art Show Honolulu
On October 15th, Honolulu's largest underground art show returns to Marks Garage. This annual event features more than 50 emerging artists, live music and body painting and an All-U-Can-Eat Pancake Bar.

The cost for the event is $5. Tickets available at the door. Must be 21+ to attend.

Established in May of 2009, The Pancakes & Booze Art Show is an art and music movement that has swept the nation with the country's largest exhibit of emerging artists. Exhibits also occur in LA, New York City, San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, Denver, Tornoto, Seattle, Washington DC, Nashville, Portland, Vacouver, Houston, Miami, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Dallas, Austin, New Orleans, Oklahoma City, San Diego and Phoenix.


The Rocky Horror Picture Show
On October 26, 27, 28 and 31 at 8:00PM, you can view the original version of this cult classic film on the ARTS at Marks monster-size movie screen.

Full interactivity of this show and costumes are encouraged. There will be interactive prop boxes available for purchase the night of the event. Rocky Horror Picture Show newcomers are welcome and encouraged to attend; there will be an informal shadow cast to lead you.

This 1975 kitsch rock-musical film features Susan Sarandon, Tim Curry and Meat Loaf.

Tickets are $20 presale on Eventbrite or at The ARTS at Marks during weekly business hours. Tickets will be on sale at the door for $25. The venue and bar open at 7:00PM and the bar will remain open until 10:00PM. The film lasts 1 hour 40 minutes.


Club Hallowbaloo at Marks
The Hallowbaloo events around Chinatown will include music by the local band Good Foot at Marks Garage on Saturday October 29. You must have a Hallowbaloo wristband to attend. Wristbands are available at Eventbrite, presales only.

The events of Club Hallowbaloo will take place throughout Chinatown, from The Hawai‘i State Art Museum to Aloha Tower and Nu‘uanu Avenue.

Festivities take place throughout the area from 9:00PM until 2:00AM. There will be trolley service available between locations from 8:00PM until 11:00PM.

The ARTS at Marks Garage is supported in part by Kumu Kahua Theatre - presenting world-class theatre by and about Hawai‘i's people in the heart of downtown Honolulu, Spire Hawai‘i, Kaiser Permanente, Hawai‘i State Foundation on Culture and Arts, Colliers International, Hawai‘i Community Foundation, O‘io Fund, Kona Brewing Company and 1001 Friends.
