TASTE OF CHINATOWN FESTIVAL -- A FREE CULINARY AND CULTURAL CELEBRATION IN CHINATOWN

Head on down to the Taste of Chinatown Festival on Saturday, August 13th, for a cultural and culinary celebration in the heart of Chinatown. Sample tastings from the many new area chefs and eateries, browse hand-crafted artisan wares, participate in keiki and cultural activities or just relax and enjoy cultural demonstrations and entertainment in a park setting.

Chefs from Artizen by MW, Downbeat Diner, Kan Zaman, Little Village, Pig and the Lady and Scratch Kitchen & Bakeshop will be on hand creating tasty small plates. Be sure to save some room for handcrafted ice cream, custards, shave ice and popsicles.

The event will start with a lion blessing and entertainment will continue throughout the day. Look for an ukulele ensemble in the morning, singer-songwriter Emi Hart playing around noon, a karate demonstration, and an extra special lip synch battle in the afternoon!
