ABOUT KAT READER
One of Hawaii's rising stars in the field of illustration. Kat's work features modern pin-up style lovelies with an exotic retro twist.

As a self-taught artist consistently reinventing and experimenting with new techniques, she has created stunning digital artworks as well as traditional paintings. Her work can be seen in galleries throughout Hawaii as well as on her online store and portfolio.

Kat Reeder is an illustrator and designer originally from Miami, FL. Her artistic flare is deeply rooted in her Latin-American heritage. Her mastery of color and texture are directly influenced by her love of the Hawaiian Islands.

Kat cites artists Alphonse Mucha, Frida Kahlo, and Paul Gauguin as early influences. However, it is her fascination with 70s japanese and american cartoons, toy packaging, and music posters that inspired the visuals that distinguish her work.
