Super comedian returns to Hawaii for two shows!

Comedy powerhouse Mike Epps returns to Hawaii for two exclusive engagements, on Friday, June 29^th at Blaisdell Concert Hall and Saturday, June 30^th at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Castle Theater. Both shows begin at 7:30pm.

Epps, whose career encompasses stand-up tours, movies and music, got his professional start in 1995 as part of the groundbreaking Def Comedy Jam series on HBO. From that point on, Epps has made his mark in movies playing unforgettable characters like Day-Day Jones in Ice Cube’s “Next Friday” and “Friday After Next” movies, L.J. from the “Resident Evil” franchise, Ed Norton in “The Honeymooners” and Black Doug in “The Hangover.” Epps will next be seen in the role of Satin as part of the all-star lineup for the movie “Sparkle,” featuring Jordin Sparks and the late Whitney Houston.

His stand-up tour continues across the country to rave reviews.

MAUI – Reserved tickets, priced at $65, $55, $45, and $25 go on sale to MACC members this Saturday May 19^th at 10am at the M.A.C.C. Box Office, by phone at 242-SHOW, and online at mauiarts.org. Ticket sale to the public begins Saturday, May 26^th.
