The Brewer’s Table: “All American”
May 25, 2012, 6:00 p.m.

Learn about the art (and maybe a little science) of pairing food with beer. You ll enjoy four delicious courses, each with a beer selected to enhance the dish s flavors. Hawaii s premier beer expert and
advocate, Andy Baker, will be on hand to share his knowledge and passion for beers from around the world. The dinner menu created by Chef Marco Elder and Pastry Chef Beth Iwata. This month s theme is All American and features beer from the Pacific to the Atlantic!

1st Course Ali i mushroom poke (watercress, Maui onion, sesame, shoyu and sriracha) in a taro basket. Paired with Mehana Humpback Blue.

2nd Course Pan-seared trout, caper beurre noisette, baby mizuna and amaranth salad. Paired with Samuel Adams Infinium.

3rd Course Barbecue Brisket, cheddar potato crisps, braised Swiss chard. Paired with Mad River

Double Dread Imperial Red Ale.

Dessert Warm passion fruit cake served with a tropical fruit compote and coconut whipped cream.
Paired with North Coast Old Rasputin XIV Barrel Aged Anniversary Stout.

This popular monthly dinner often sells out. Seating is limited and reservations required. $50 per person
