Fred Tomaselli in residence Feb. 13-17
LECTURE Feb. 15th @ 6pm
ART Auditorium FREE

Tomaselli is an internationally acclaimed painter and collagist of finely wrought patterned images that address our "medicalized" and scientific relationship to nature. He often collages psychotropics, pharmaceuticals, and photo images into amazing complex large-scale works . "It is my ultimate aim", the artist says, "to seduce and transport the viewer in to space of these pictures while simultaneously revealing the mechanics of that seduction." Tomaselli is based in New York and has a long and illustrious exhibition record, including his retrospective at the Brooklyn Museum (2010).

Tomaselli's visit is sponsored in part by:
The Laila Twigg-Smith Art Fund
