EXHIBITION SUMMARY:

Started in Hawaii in 2007, Nomadic Art Net & Views will be exhibited for the first time as a traveling exhibition. The artist embodies different states of nomad, from citizen to immigrant to resident to tourist to expat. She invited encounters in the various locations; Hawaii, Thailand, France, Italy and Panama; to embroider on a mosquito net tent. The views of those locations were recorded by embroidering windows screens, a domestic item often unnoticed. Using her internal filter she captured some elements while leaving others out, giving a vision that becomes recognizable the longer you stay.
