Local, Downtown-based fashion designers and boutiques are the focus of a fun and fashionable event -- The Downtown Fashion Wine Walk, Friday, August 19, 2011. This event benefits Goodwill Industries of Hawaii.

Event Highlights Include:
- A benefit for Goodwill Industries of Hawaii
- Special appearance by Project Runway Finalist, Andy South
- Food, Drink and Shopping at the Pauahi Street Festival
- Fashion Show with Styles from Fashionista Market, Super Citizen, Roberta Oaks, Goodwill, and Others
- Wine Tasting and Appetizers at Area Shops and Boutiques
- Beauty Treatments and Demonstrations
- Trunk Sale
- Red Carpet Photo Opps
- Door Prizes
- Plus a Special Screening of Dresscue Me -- A Planet Green and Goodwill presentation hosted by vintage fashionista, Shareen Mitchell

A $25 ticket includes:
  • Wine tasting and appetizers at area boutiques and shops
  • Entry to a trunk sale
  • Chance to win prizes
  • The opportunity to be one of the first in Hawaii to view Dresscue Me, a Planet Green and Goodwill presentation hosted by Shareen Mitchell, renown for her unique and affordable approach to vintage clothing


Special highlight for the evening is a guest appearance by Andy South, Chinatown's very own Project Runway finalist. The street festival, on Pauahi Street, between Nuuanu and Bethel Streets, is free and open to the public. Food, drink and fashion vendors on the street, along with music and a fashion show.
