March - Friday, 3/5/2010 - Art Exhibit - Art at the Capitol - 5pm - 7pm
The Hawai'i State Legislature will open its doors for March's First Friday event with the 2nd Annual "Art at the Capitol," an opportunity for the public to view over 430 works of art that are a part of the State's Art in Public Places program. Guests can also enjoy entertainment featuring live music by the Hawai'i Youth Symphony, take guided historical tours of the Capitol, and mingle with artists and lawmakers.

The Mendonca Building's unique Courtyard is open again for First Friday and will be hosting a fundraiser for the The Zawadi Arts Festival! - "Empowering Africa's Future, Island Style"

"Hot Latin!" a showcase of the best in Latin music and dance. The event features two stages of live music, on the front lawn and the second floor lanai, and is FREE to the public.
