MINI to the Max at the Marketplace!
MINI Cooper mania is HUGE at the Aloha Tower Marketplace car show & toy drive


(HONOLULU, HI) - MINI of Hawaii will have its third annual MINI Cooper car show at the Aloha Tower Marketplace on Sunday, November 9, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cars will be parked along the Boat Days Promenade at the base of Aloha Tower, and the public will be able to talk to the various MINI owners.

Admission is FREE; however, new toy donations are requested for a toy drive benefit sponsored by MINI of Hawaii for homeless children. Last year, MINI owners and enthusiasts collected 345 toys, which were later distributed.

'Among the vintage Mini and newer MINI Coopers, there will be some surprises for our guests, says Darrel Pestana, MINI of Hawaii new car sales manager.

In addition, special guests at this car show will include:

Miss Hawaii 2008 Nicole Fox will be a part of the festivities.
Artist Niles Nakaoka will unveil his newest MINI painting. Nakaoka, a member of the Automotive Fine Arts Society (AFAS), is a contributing artist for Road and Track magazine and has appeared in several magazines like Racer, Championship Racing, and Cavallino.

Artist Chad Morisato will create a custom roof panel, which will be on display at the MINI of Hawaii showroom after the event. (This panel is not for sale, but it does feature his work should someone want to air brush creative on their MINI.) Morisato's mission is to create a piece that when displayed, draws out the true personality of the space it occupies. He surely fulfills this with this one of a kind roof graphic. Bring your sunglasses for this one!
