Hawaii's Chinatown introduces the viewers to interviews with several historical authorities as well as relatives of prominent figures. With extensive use of historical photos, archival films and original documents the chronology of Chinese immigrants in Hawaii is beautifully illustrated.

In addition to stories of early days and recent events of Hawaii�s Chinatown, students from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music perform original music. �It is a remarkable and timely portrait of people and a place, which are making a difference in our understanding of life.
