  • The Art Board Announce Eastern Cultural Fair on the Court at the The Fresh F.A.C.E. on Nuuanu Street Fair.


The Honolulu Culture and Arts District with Chinatown based fashion designer Takeo, are staging a major street event call The Fresh F.A.C.E. on Nuuanu Street Fair.

The Art Board is organizing an event called Eastern Cultural Fair on the Court which will be held in conjunction with this fair. Eastern Cultural Fair on the Court will be held in the courtyard of 1170 Nuuanu Avenue. Our event starts at 9:00 A.M. and will end at 9:00 P.M. that evening.

The theme for our event is Eastern Cultural and will feature traditional displays of Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Filipino, and Southeast Asian countries.

We will have kimonos displays, tea ceremony, kimono art by Jintaro Nishimura, fashions from different countries from east Asia.


Our courtyard will be filled with vendors that sell jewelry, fashion accessories, dresses and aloha shirts, arts and crafts and other fashion related items. We still have vendor space available in the courtyard and inside the Art Board at $100.00 per booth.

The Art Board will provide cultural entertainment during day and after 6:30 P.M. will be having an open mike for Karaoke and amatuer singers. Contemporary music will be provided by the talented Fort Street Mall Band.
