Heather Anders has been drawn to art since she could hold a crayon. As a child, her favorite past time was created with pencils, pens, crayons and paper. Having no formal training in art, she cherishes Hawaii as it has opened many avenues to explore her creative side. The beautiful ocean has inspired many an idea on color and sea life in her work. Her pieces have been displayed in local galleries and individual exhibits as well as in other states and countries.

Heather uses a mix media of acrylic on watercolor paper, watercolors, and Indian inks. Each of her works is so intricate, it contains much hidden detail that viewer often miss, making it increasingly captivating. Her work is known for both its playfulness and it's whimsical qualities.
