 University Of Hawai'i - On Fleeting Ground: BFA Honors Thesis Exhibition by Brady Evans
The works are based on direct tracings of shadows cast on a sunny day in Mānoa Valley. Influenced by Japanese Zen painting and practice, Evans uses repetitious, almost meditative mark-making to build up, break down, and slowly transform the shadows.
