Darla Smith is Hawai'i's leading professional newborn baby photographer, dedicated to capturing the beauty and diverse cultures present in the Hawaiian islands.


You can find her work displayed in stores and boutiques throughout Oahu. She is proud to be a member of PPA (Professional Photographers Association) as well as INP (International Association of Newborn Photographers) and is also a published author of the book: Blessings: Sleeping Newborns of Hawai'i.


Darla is best known for her passion in creating colorful, unique and whimsical "scenes" with her newborn clients; whether in her private studio or among the beautiful landscapes and beaches Hawai'i is best known for. Along with her husband Todd, they have experience in working with over 450+ newborn babies, including 28 sets of multiples (5-10 days old on average). This husband and wife team have been dubbed the "dynamic duo" by their clients and strive to provide new parents with a peaceful and memorable experience, when it comes to preserving newborn "art".
