Upcoming Main Gallery Exhibition
Downtown Art Center Announces Collectors’ Art Sale and Exhibition Fundraiser, September 5–26, 2025

Honolulu (August 2025) – Downtown Art Center is excited to present the DAC Collectors’ Art Sale & Exhibition Fundraiser, on view from September 5 to 26, 2025 in the Main Gallery at Downtown Art Center, 1041 Nuʻuanu Ave., Second Floor. This special event, curated by Allison Wong, invites collectors to consign fine art from their personal collections to benefit DAC’s exhibitions program and support the growth of Hawaiʻi’s vibrant art community. The exhibition, which is free and open to the public, will be on view during regular gallery hours, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday.
The event encourages collectors to donate works of art from their collections, and to discover new works. Featured artwork includes pieces by Allyn Bromley, Bumpei Akaji, Carl Pao, Dietrich Varez, Hiroki Morinoue, Jo Rowley, John Kjargaard, John Koga, Lionel Walden, Lori Uyehara, Madge Tennent, Timothy Ojile, and other renowned artists. A wide range of media will be included, from painting and photography to prints and sculpture—some by artists who have shaped Hawaiʻi’s art history and others representing the next generation.
In addition to the Collectors’ Art Sale, there will be a special selection of works for sale by Hawaiʻi-based contemporary artists.
