  Entertainment/Art/Exhibit - The Arts At Marks Garage First Friday
  The ARTS at Marks Garage is a community arts center with a 1,000 sq. ft. gallery, a 1,000 sq. ft. theater, and a 1,000 sq. ft. office space founded in 2001. Marks is home to 13 performing and visual arts businesses including Youth Speaks Hawaii and Hawaii Shakespeare Festival. 45,000 visitors attend 13 exhibits and 150 performances each year.

  Downtown Art Center First Friday Presents - DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHY JURIED EXHIBITION
  From May 2 - 14, 2023, Downtown Art Center’s second floor Main Gallery, located at 1041 Nuʻuanu Ave., will be hung with colorful, creative, handmade quilts by members of the Hawaiʻi Quilt Guild. “Quilting Down Memory Lane” will be on view to the public during regular gallery hours, Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a special First Friday reception on Friday, May 5 from 5:30 - 8 p.m.

In honor of Pride Month, HiSAM presents QASI Queer Arts Festival, including a performance with Lady Laritza “Lala” Labouche!
