Opening Reception: First Friday, December 2, from 5:30-8 p.m. With special guest DJ Mermaid from Hawaii Public Radio's HPR Generation Listen! Come learn about HPR Gen Listen and their mission to engage and connect with younger listeners, in addition to meeting the artists in our December show!

Thursday Art Pau Hana Parties: Thursday, December 8 and 22, from 4:30 - 7 p.m.
Our December exhibition, curated by Gina Bacon Kerr, is a selection of works by over 30 renowned artists from around Hawaiʻi.

Super Awesome Art Squad invites you to a super awesome holiday sale! They've teamed up with their talented artist friends to bring you exciting ceramics, sculpture, paintings, prints, and mixed media that will make special gifts for loved ones and yourself this holiday season. A portion of sales goes to help support Downtown Art Center and its vital work with providing artists and our art community with an exhibition space, retail art shop, classes, and more!

Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
First Floor, Chinatown Gateway Plaza
Come visit our downstairs DAC Art & Gifts shop for a curated collection of holiday gifts and greeting cards, fine art, sculpture, textiles, and other treasures, all made by local artists! Open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, and located just behind the Satellite City Hall office at Chinatown Gateway Plaza, our retail shop gives local artists the opportunity to sell and showcase their art to the community.

Located in the Chinatown Gateway Plaza building at 1041 Nuʻuanu Ave., Second Floor, the nonprofit Downtown Art Center is an evolving gallery and workshop space for Oʻahu's arts scene. DAC strives to become a thriving center for the arts by providing display space for local artists and art organizations, workshop classrooms, performances, and more.
