51st Annual Senior Valentines Dance

Everyone is invited to get on up and boogie down with some vivacious kūpuna during the 51st Senior Valentine Dance sponsored by the Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR).

The fun-filled, annual event is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 11 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. It is free and open to the public, but parking rates may still apply.

This year's theme of "Love will keep us together" will be felt throughout the exhibition hall as hundreds of members from 34 DPR senior clubs island-wide dance all throughout the morning.

A live performance from the Royal Hawaiian Band will help kick-off the event, followed by some special appearances from Mayor Kirk Caldwell and members of his cabinet, city employees, newscasters, athletes and local celebrities.

Mahalo to the Bank of Hawai‘i and the numerous volunteers and contributing organizations who continue to support this annual event.
