The ARTS at Marks Garage is going all out this July 4th First Friday to celebrate the work of Kirsten Rae Simonsen and Chris Edwards! With a beer garden on the Great Lawn at Marks, adult shave ice, delicious food and drink, and great music all night! Details below!

Friday July 4th from 5pm-11pm is an evening to celebrate the opening of the Best of Shows installation at The ARTS at Marks Garage: "Self-Assembly" by Chris Edwards and "Encampments" by Kirsten Rae Simonsen: Grand Prize Winners of Double-Feature Summer Season, Zoonami and HI Tides. The artists will be available to discuss their work from 5-8pm, with artists talks that evening at 6:30.

There will be a Kona Brewing Company beer garden on the front yard of Marks Garage with a full bar inside the gallery and performance space. DJ The Native Girl will be spinning all night, with drink specials, adult shave ice, and carnival-themed decor. The Hawaiian Fresh Farms Food Truck will be posted up outside serving up delicious local fare all night.
