about Heather Chapman: http://heatherchappy.wix.com/beautycounselor
Heather was born in Fontana, Calafornia and grew up in the suburbs of LA county.

Her passion with artistry began at a young age of 16. She has pursued her passion with, not just make-up artistry, but various kinds of art mediums ever-since.

Heather moved to Hawaii in pursuit of college education in 2003, and graduated from HPU in 2007. While attending HPU, she learned about the art history of Asia.

After she graduated from HPU, she attended the International School of Beauty and Esthetique in Honolulu, and was certified in high fashion/black and white photography make-up.

Heather graduated with a MSCP in 2011, and went to counsel and teach intermediate school students on the Big Island of Hawaii. While teaching elective classes based on basic make-up artistry and painting , to her students, Heather discovered that she wanted to focus more on her pursuing her art and love of painting.

Heather proceeds to work as a freelance makeup artist around Oahu, and is creating artworks that inspire her.

about Kahanu Fung
Kahanu Fung Born was raised in Kaneohe, HI. Currently residing in Mililani Mauka. Owner and artist of Ho‘okupu Designs. Mediums: Acrylic paint, paint pens, henna, stretched canvas, shoes, hats, body art.

As an artist and proud member of the Hawaiian and LGBT community, Kahanu strives to provide healing art for all ranging in different styles from native hawaiian art to chakra opening designs. "I strongly believe that art pleases the eye as well as heals. Projecting a persons energy into a piece not only visually stimulates but truly reflects who, what, and where one is in their life. Positive intentions creates art that moves from a space of divinity and release allowing an exertion of powerful healing. My mission is one of light, spirit, and divine energetic outreach. Each design delivers messages of spiritual transition, love, and light."

"Beautiful works of art from a spiritually connected artist!! My sweet soul sister, Kahanu (artist and owner of Ho'okupu Designs), channels high vibrational messages from Spirit onto canvas. When a design speaks to you, the messages are meant for you!! Each work of art is an original made especially for you. In addition to the current inventory, you may also commission a work of art for yourself, a friend, or for your work place or home. Each piece has a high vibrational design that can change the energy of any space it is placed in - awesomeness!! The experience of receiving and having a ho'okupu design by Kahanu is one you will never forget!!"\

(testimony from dear friend and kahu brother, Kaulana Yosh)
