The Mendonca Building's unique Courtyard is open again for First Friday in October for a very exciting composite event. Stephanie Bolton has put together an Art exhibit & Bohemian night market which she is calling “An Evening with the The Nouveau Gypsy’. Since her headquarters are on the Big Island, this is no small fete!

The event will be featuring the paintings and wall art of Stephanie Bolton & Ian Haight with at least 15 other fine clothing, jewelry, arts & crafts vendors. Come and see Anneliese Buchert, Lynnette from Lynn's Treasures, Lala B. and Margaret Rahr with their unique jewelry
Meet Torie Okemura wo makes hand-made art handbags, Wendy Rosen – with hand-dyed silks, Easter Lily with her photography, and Leslie Gage.

CCDoodle will show hand printed obi belts, Danielle Bolton- Huluwuwu feather accessories and Kathryn Hansis with RESOUL'D Designs – which are repurposed objects, and found object art.
Michelle Douglas of Meg by Design will offer her gorgeous linen clothing, dreamy skirts & shawls and will have a little dressing room area too.

On the lawn and wandering through the crowd will be LIVE ENTERTAINMENT including Shakti Dance Movement belly dancers, fan & fire dancers. Annabel Jenkins will be demonstrating as a Henna tattoo artist and there will be live music on the platform.

Artists Kris Goto, Sean Gallagher & Amber Chesbro upstairs in the recently renovated Artist Lofts, will also have their studios open for a peek at what will soon be seen in other galleries around town. You can say “you saw it here first!”
Enter into the Chinatown Courtyard on Smith Street through the stand of bamboo at the Blue Dragon Gate or from the Maunakea Street doors.  This event is free and open to the public.
