On First Friday, May7, 2010 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, the Friends of the Hawaii State Art Museum (HiSAM) and the Hawai’i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts presents “May Soul” soulful, cross-genre program in the spirit of May Day. “May Soul” will feature a line-up of Kapala, Family Dinner, and the Punahou High School Jazz Band on the Lawn, while Guy Cruz performs on the Lanai, punctuated with two short sets of slam poetry by locally and nationally recognized poets.
