Celebrate Choy Chang with us in the historic Mendonca Building's Courtyard for the February One Night Stand.

Tomás del Amo, whose photography has been seen for decades on the covers of magazines, ads and brochures for virtually every airline, cruise line, and hotel chain in Hawaii will return to show new work. He is a natural at creating multiple images within the lens with his innovative use of light sources on figures and forms. With his fine art creations he demonstrates the extraordinary talent of a man who has dedicated his life to his art. His creations are sensitive, passionate, and exuberant and truly mind-boggling.

Exhibiting tropical themes with sensitivity towards color and light, Edgardo Garcia II brings fantasy towards reality. With fresh sense of composition as well as a classical background, this artist brings new insight as well as fan favorites to the art lover's delight.

Rounding out the evening are artists from GroundUP, which is a movement of artists collaborating to revolutionize and represent the art world. GroundUP Pirates are a collective of independent artists from all genres of ART -including paintings, ceramics, photography, music, DJs, poetry, fashion, and all other elements of personal expression. Based out of Hawaii, GroundUP's collective contains some of the most renown artist throughout the world - including art groups in Europe, America, Asia, etc. The GroundUP Pirates have evolved from a small net group of artists and friends to becoming a "movement" spreading throughout the world. " Some of the individual artists that night will be - Torie Okemura, Eukarezt, Pancho Koak, Shaun Castro, Efren Renon, Ryan Greenly. Funds from anything sold will be used to finance a group trip to California for an Art Show.

John and Dayna Hillcrest are reinventing art on walls by combining the latest developments in digital image design with a new and innovative printing technology to bring you our vibrant, full-color ceramic wall murals. The largest wall mural so far is 16 feet high by 30 feet wide. Any Art, Any image onto Picture-Tiles. They will have examples and information on their amazing process that puts your favorite photos in some very exciting and unusual places.

Originial art work is displayed and Box Dinners are provided for sale by Kate Wagner in the Starpoint Café.

Fred Gayagas will be back to share his wonderful old and new Hawaiian tunes and interact with the Courtyard visitors.

Enter into the Chinatown Courtyard on Smith Street through the Blue Dragon Gate (across the street from Little Village Restaurant). This event is free and open to the public.
