Honolulu, Hawaii - February 24, 20016 - Honolulu's Gallery on the Pali announces an exhibition of artwork by Windward artist Linda Umstead. The exhibition will run from March 20, 2016 to April 28, 2016 at Gallery on the Pali, located inside the First Unitarian Church at 2500 Pali Highway.

There will an artist's reception on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 6 to 8 PM. The public is invited.

Umstead's show is titled "Water of Life". Umstead says "Like many watercolor artists, I have been seduced by the subject of water in its many iterations…we are creatures of water; we are largely composed of it; it gives us, and everything on earth, life."

According to her biography, "Linda Umstead has been painting on Oahu since the early part of this century, using various mediums including watercolor, acrylic, pencil, pen, and digital imagery. She currently does botanicals at the weekly workshop at Ho'omaluhia Gardens".

The Gallery is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm, weekends from 2 pm-6 pm. There is no admission charge and parking is convenient and free.
