Tours Of The Quilt Show With A Docent**** Free & Fun at The Honolulu Academy of Art
- Tweet
INVITATION: I am asking that you think about other groups of people who may be interested in seeing us "strut our stuff".
Think about church groups, social groups, book clubs, community service groups, schools, retirement homes et al. I will, of course, treat your group with kindness and courtesy. They will have an enjoyable time.(guaranteed---grin) (I have a group of kapuna from Arcadia Retirement Home scheduled for May 10th. I am sure that many of them were/are quilters).
This will be FREE. The Honolulu Academy of Art welcomes these tours and has generously waived the usual group fee.
You would have to make a list of the people attending, for me. Not the names, necessarily, but the number of attendees. Groups of 4 - 15, preferred. Call or e-mail me with a preferred time date and time from May 6 - May 15, 2011. The Art Center is closed on Monday and I will not be available on Mothers' Day.
The tour would consist of the docent walking thru the show with the group for 45 min. Then 15 min of "free" time. 1 hour total.
Washroom, drinking fountain are there at The Art Center. Also some seating, if people get tired.
