I Love Chinatown Festival Free Block Party January 28th & 29th, 2011. 888 Nuunau Ave. Corner of Nuuanu Ave. & Ala Moana Blvd. in the heart of Downtown Chinatown Honolulu, Hawaii.





Honolulu, Hawaii, January 11, 2011: Join us as we kick off the first in a series of special events called the I Love Chinatown Festival. The first Festival will be celebrating Chinese New Year, The Year of the Rabbit, and the return of the NFL Pro Bowl. Festival Hours will be from 4pm-10pm on Friday, January 28, 2011 and from 12noon-10pm on Saturday, January 29, 2011. The event is FREE to all ages. The festival will Feature the Taste of INDIGO food court presented by world renown Chef Glenn Chu, over 20 Live bands and DJ's, 21+ alcohol garden, mechanical bull, mechanical surf ride, foam party tent, Keiki Zone, Lion Dance with firecrackers, Dance performers, Custom bike exhibit, and a pub crawl after party, both Friday and Saturday night, from 10pm to 2am, at all participating bars and clubs in Downtown Chinatown presented, by Double-O-Spot's Chinatown Getdown. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to nonprofit foundations.

There will be fun for all age groups. As stated by James Tennant, the Director of the Board of I Love Chinatown Festival, LLC, "The goal of the I Love Chinatown Festival is to bring all various types of culture in food, arts, and entertainment together with music as our universal language."
