July 2010 Events at Bar 35

July 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29 (Thursdays)
Night Out with 45. DJ 45 Revolver, along with invited guest DJs
spin the night away. Hip hop, R&B, and whatever gets the crowd
moving. 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. No cover.

July 2
DJs Audissey and Anarchy. It’s First Friday! Kick it off with
some hip hop, rock and reggae. Music starts at 9:00 a.m. and
runs thru 2:00 a.m. $5 cover. 21+

July 3
DowneTowne. Every first Saturday of the month Bar 35 features
DowneTowne – a night for women who love women (and
open to all). July’s theme: Dirty Disco, featuring DJ Anara,
from L.A. and guest DJs. 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Cover.

July 7, 14, 21 & 28 (Wednesdays)
House of Brews. Voted Honolulu Best Beer Tasting (Honolulu
Magazine, 2010). Your chance to taste eight different featured
beers. $20 for the tasting includes Chef Valentini’s delicious,
gourmet, artisan pizza. Tasting starts at 6:00 p.m. Themes and
topics change every week.

July 9, 16, 23 & 30 (Fridays)
DJ Rhombus. We get started early with the music starting at 6:00
p.m. At 9:00, guests including DJs Jon C, Logoe and Audissey
join in. House, disco, hip hop and top 40. Music continues thru
2:00 a.m. No cover.

July 10
Summer Outreach Film Series.
Presented by the Hawaii Gay and Lesbian Cultural Foundation.
Indoor and outdoor film screening. Starts at 7:00 p.m.
Admission; discounted for student and ADA; free for Rainbow Film
Festival pass holders.
Sloppy Seconds. As in the second Saturday of the month. It’s a
super casual, anti-dress code event. DJ Logoe, @jon_ccc and
others. 10:00 p.m. to closing. Cover.

July 15
JJ Walker Trio. Live Blues, funk and rock. Starts at 9:00 p.m.
No cover.

July 31
80s POP MUZIK. A monthly dance event with DJ Nocturna and
DJ Modboy spinning the best of 80s music from new wave, synthpop
and 80s R&B to big-hair 80s rock and pop. 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
$5 cover. 21+
