At the HONOLULU ACADEMY of ARTS:
A Quirky Plan:
As noticeable, eye-catching PR for The Hawaii Quilt Guild's Annual Quilt Show, we will wrap the trees at Linekona (The Academy Art Center) in quilts;

"The Quilted Forest. " The installation will take place on April19 th (in case you would like to see it or send a photographer over to take a photo). The trees will be snuggled in their quilts for 20 days.

The Annual Show, (titled ) " The Year of the Quilt," will be open to the public from April 30 thru May 9 (Mothers Day) at the Academy Art Center on Victoria St.

It is FREE. There will be more than 150 colorful quilts to admire and docented tours are available for groups.
