January 8th, 2010 6-9pm - Hawaii State Art Museum will have Live From the Lawn Grammy Awards Concert


We invite you to a sneak preview of the line-up for Best Hawaiian Music Album as nominated musicians from Hawai'i showcase their talents at a Grammy Awards Concert. This Live from the Lawn event will be held at the Hawai'i State Art Museum at 250 Hotel Street on Friday, January 8th from 6 to 9 p.m.

This free concert features artists from the albums: He Nani, Tia Carrere and Daniel Ho; Friends & Family of Hawai'i, Amy Hanaiali'i (performing duets with John Cruz, Eric Gilliom, Dennis Kamakahi, Kaumaka'iwa Kanaka'ole, and Sean Na'auao); Nani Mau Loa: Everlasting Beauty, Ho'okena; Masters of Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar, Volume 2, Various Artists (confirmed artists are Dennis Kamakahi, George Kahumoku, Jr., Keoki Kahumoku, Sonny Lim, Owana Salazar, and Jeff Peterson).

This free concert is presented by the Hawai'i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts and the Friends of the Hawai'i State Art Museum, with support from the LEF Foundation, DBEDT, Outrigger Hotels and Clear Channel Communications.
