Night of January 16th

THE PLAY:
Bjorn Faulkner has swindled millions of dollars from investors. In the wake of a crash, he is facing bankruptcy despite a loan from the wealthy father of his new wife. On the night of January 16th, Bjorn and Karen Andre, his mistress of ten years, are in the penthouse at the top of the Faulkner Building In New York when he falls to his death. Was it a suicide--or murder? Karen Andre is placed on trial for murder. The play takes place entirely in a courtroom. Witnesses contradict each other, and it is almost certain that some of them are lying.
Each night the jury will be called from the audience to sit in the jury box on stage. The jury must decide how much of their character's testimony is actually true. Depending upon the jury's findings, the play has a different ending. The play was a hit of the 1935-36 Broadway season and is just as timely today.
Run dates: Friday, September 25th through Sunday, October 18th
