TAG - The Actors Group debuts website videos of upcoming productions

TAG - The Actors Group this week debuted a new website feature, "TAG Talks," with video interviews of the actors and directors in productions at the new TAG Theatre located at 1116 Smith Street in Honolulu's Chinatown Arts District. The first set of interviews feature the director and cast of Romulus Linney's A LESSON BEFORE DYING which opens Friday, April 3 and runs through Sunday, April 26. The videos are accessed through the TAG homepage at www.taghawaii.net

Producer/Director Laurie Tanoura is interviewed in the first video along with cast members Chad Williams, London Stanton, Mary-Ann Shirley Gray, and T. Mike Daze.

"Our goal is to take our audiences back stage and give them an idea of what goes into creating live theatre in Hawaii," says TAG board member Richard Tillotson who came up with the idea and conducted the first interviews. "It's sort of a mini 'Inside the Actors' Studio' format."

The actors address a range of questions including what are the biggest challenges they face in playing their character and what they think audiences will most remember and value about the play they're going to see.
