Tag Announces Actors' Workshops!

TAG ANNOUNCES ACTORS' WORKSHOPS!

With the New Year and our new space in Chinatown, TAG is thrilled to announce the realization of a long held dream: TAG'S ACTORS' WORKSHOP. The first of these will be taught by noted Honolulu actor, Don Pomes.

Don's Pomes Actors' Group Workshop
March 7 - May 9, 2009
Saturdays, 9 AM - 12 PM
Core of the Workshop:
Auditioning, character building, scene study, approaching the role, problems facing the actor and a working plan on how to improve your acting skills.
Fee is $200. (30 hours of work for roughly $7 an hour.)

To insure a quality experience, there is a limit to the number of participants we can accept. We strongly suggest that interested actors sign up quickly. If you are serious about improving your acting talent, this is the investment you need to make in yourself for 2009!

Don Pomes' credits include more than 50 years as a professional actor on and off Broadway; in The American Shakespeare Festival, in Hollywood and Japan. He has worked with many stars on stage, TV and in film. Here in Hawai'i Don has made numerous appearances on Hawaii Five O, Magnum P.I. and many made-for-TV films and commercials. He has received three Po'okela Awards for his stage work.
