Aloha dear Daspace and StudioBe supporters,

Starting September 2008 we will be available for Design services through our SmarTitas Design Team, we have all kinds of amazing workshops that we will be offering and we are a groovy space that needs just good old angels to step in. We are not a non-profit...we are a group of hard working social entrepreneurs and artists that need others to realize how important these spaces are to the community. If you have had the pleasure of renting, using or experienceing any moments in our spaces, please consider making a donation, taking a class, buying art, using our design services or creating another great event in our studios because we are just a few moments away from letting these studios go.

I have quietly decided to let you all know the seriousness of the situation. I know that everyone is working very hard and there isnt much extra for anything and yet I know if these studios are suppose to go on, that we need our community to really serve us now. It is not easy to ask or recieve help. I cannot keep this up with out your genuine interest. We need new partners, possible other artists that need a more regular space to use,and we need innovative ideas from any direction we can create.

I am not scared or sad. This has been an incredible wonderful experience and we would love to see it continue. Please call me directly @808-351-4960 and let me know what fun creative thoughts you may have and if you have any angels out there let them know about us...it can be a great moment for all of us....
