Aloha Tower Announces Annual July 3rd Fireworks Extravaganza! On Thursday, July 3rd, Aloha Tower Marketplace will host their annual pre-Independence Day celebration from 5 p.m., culminating with a stunning fireworks display over Honolulu Harbor at 9 p.m. Admission is FREE.There will be free, live entertainment on multiple stages; a fashion show with top Hawaii models; the Pacific Fleet Band; Darren Benitez; strolling entertainers; face & hair painting; a balloon artist; and a dazzling fireworks finale at 9 p.m. This year, ukulele star Jake Shimabukuro will be headlining the Pier 9 stage from 8:20 p.m. to get the crowd ready for the big show. In addition, Don Ho's and Gordon Biersch will be offering entertainment and food & drink specials all night long. Hooters will feature a wing-eating contest in the center atrium as well.
